Provisional Visa
If you are a permanent resident, a citizen, or a New Zealand citizen living in Australia, you can sponsor your spouse or de facto partner to stay with you in the country. This also leads to the Subclass 100 visa, a permanent partner visa.
Migrant Visa
The partner migrant visa is granted to those who hold a Subclass 309 or temporary partner visa. To get this visa for a de facto partner or spouse, the applicant must be a permanent resident, a citizen, or a New Zealand citizen living in Australia.
