Why Apply for a Subclass 189 visa?
Subclass 189 is a points-tested permanent visa issued to skilled individuals sponsored by an Australia-based employer or nominated by the state. You must submit an EOI or Expression of Interest before you can apply for this visa category. Applicants must score at least 65 points on the assessment. Once you become a holder of Subclass 190, you can indefinitely stay, work, study and even sponsor accompanying family members as permanent residents in Australia.

Requirements
All eligible candidates must be able to fulfil the following to apply for Subclass 189
- Must possess an occupation present on the Skilled Occupation List
- Below 45 years of age
- Fill out the skilled assessment form
- Earn 65 points
- Minimum English language proficiency
- Get an invitation to apply
